The Future of Interactive Technology for Peace Conference

The Entertainment Technology Center at Carnegie Mellon University invites you to The Future of Interactive Technology for Peace Conference on April 2 & 3, 2008 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. For more information regarding the conference and to register, please go to:

The theme of the conference is exploration of the impact that interactive technology has on peace, peacemaking, and diplomacy. The conference will bring together professionals from the entertainment industry, academia (faculty and students), and government and foundation personnel.

This conference will provide an opportunity for participants to learn, share and discuss what the future holds for the use of interactive technology in peace and peacemaking. Key aims of the conference it to hear from researchers and professionals in the field on the opportunities for how interactive technology can impact education and training in the areas of diplomacy and peace and increase participants' awareness of the role that technology has for peacemaking.
