DiGRA Mailing Lists

by Frans Mäyrä last modified 2006-11-08 09:37

You are welcome to join discussion mailing lists that the DiGRA games researcher community uses.

Two lists are available: DiGRA-Announce[aT]uta.fi is a low-volume list for those who only prefer to get the occasional newsletter and other announcements.

Gamesnetwork[aT]uta.fi is the DiGRA discussion list, quiet at times, sometimes activating into medium-to-high message traffic on various games research related issues.

Both are currently hosted at University of Tampere Listserv server, and you can subscribe to them either by going to address https://listserv.uta.fi/ and creating your account and subscription details as instructed there (preferred method). Or, you can also send a message with text ‘subscribe digra-announce’ or ‘subscribe gamesnetwork’ from the mail account you use to the address listserv[aT]uta.fi.

Note that it is easier to change and manage your subscriptions via the web interface, and you can also set up your account to read all messages from the web archive (rather than getting copies to your inbox), so that is why https://listserv.uta.fi/ is the preferred way.

There are also mailing lists for digra chapters and special interest groups. See list of mailing lists: http://mail.digra.org/mailman/listinfo. For new SIG or Chapter mailing lists contact admin at digra.org.
