Innovation Competition EduApp4Syria: Develop edu-game app for Syrian refugee children
Norway and several international partners have launched an innovation competition to develop a mobile game-based learning application for Syrian children. An estimated 2.8 million Syrian children are out of school because of conflict. Many are having to cope with traumas and high levels of stress, which also affects their learning ability.
Norway is therefore fronting an initiative to develop a game-based smartphone application that can help Syrian children learn how to read and improve their psychosocial wellbeing.
Deadline for submissions: 1 April 2016
