Chinese DiGRA Chapter is proud to announce the The 4th Annual Chinese DiGRA Conference held at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University between June 2nd and 4th.

Extended abstracts are due March 15th.

The programme of Chinese DiGRA 2017 Conference to be held in Hong Kong on 2-4 June 2017 has been released. Over the three days, we will have 23 papers, 3 keynotes, one panel, and the Chinese DiGRA chapter AGM.

EXTENDED CALL FOR DIGRA CONFERENCE HOSTS 2018 – 2019

The Digital Games Research Association (DiGRA) has as a central goal the support of an international conference on digital gaming. Nine world conferences have taken place, the first in Utrecht, the Netherlands (2003), the second in Vancouver, Canada (2005), the third in Tokyo, Japan (2007), the fourth in Brunel, UK (2009) the fifth in Utrecht, the Netherlands (2011) the sixth in Atlanta, USA (2013), the seventh in Snowbird, USA (2014), the eighth in Luneburg, Germany (2015), the ninth conference, scheduled for 2016 will take place in Dundee, Scotland as a collaboration with the Foundations of Digital Games conference, and the tenth conference will be held in Melbourne, Australia (2017).

This document is a call for proposals for a committee and location to host the next series of DiGRA’s international games research conferences. We are actively seeking proposals for 2018 and 2019. Proposals for conference hosting in 2020 and beyond are also welcome.
