[Dr. Hanan Gazit [VRider

Dr. Hanan Gazit (VRider) serves as the DiGRA ISRAEL Chapter, currently promoting the DiGRA Vision and the use of digital games and virtual worlds for for instruction, learning & business in all sectors. Dr. Gazit is a researcher and a lecturer. His research interests include: Interactions in digital games & virtual worlds; Designing effective Serious Games; Skills acquisition & Virtual-Real World transfer; Using computerized tools for analyzing interactions. Dr. Gazit holds a PhD degree in the Learning Sciences and a Magna Cum Laude M.A degree in Science Education from Tel-Aviv University. He served as the chief designer and team coordinator of the ILA City Project, an innovative academic e-learning course developed at Tel-Aviv University. A former post doctorate fellow researcher at LIRT Lab, the Institute for Interdisciplinary Applications of Computer Science, CRI. Prior to his academic career, Dr. Gazit served in the I.D.F as an instructional design expert.
