Track “Virtual Realities and Gaming” at MKWI 2012 (Multikonferenz Wirtschaftsinformatik)
Braunschweig, Germany
Deadline: 15th of September 2011

The enhanced interactivity and social presence promote a sense of immersion, i.e. the feeling of “being there together”. The application of virtual realities has also found growing usage in the business context (f.i. within IBM and HP), where it can help fostering innovation. Furthermore, companies increasingly acknowledge the value of games and game mechanics to achieve positive effects such as an enhanced motivation of participation and creativity.
